Health is not defined merely by the absence of disease or symptomatic complaints.  It is a continuum that has extreme illness at one end, and optimal living at the other.  It is described by aspects of the physical body, but also by mental, emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing.  We all exist somewhere on that continuum and we have the power to make choices that will slide us up or down along the way.  Our work is to help you to move toward more optimal living by figuring out what that means to you, creating strategies together and encouraging a continued effort in the direction of the life you most desire in all arenas.  This does not necessarily mean changing your entire life circumstances, but sometimes making the choice to live differently within a given set of circumstances.  There is often beauty and learning to be discovered in determining how to live life on life's terms.
